BOA POWER
Caleb 86
"A different spirit" and "A Winning Spirit" "But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it." The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), Nu 14:24. Caleb86 is a program for all ages and for all professions of life. The Caleb86 program is about having a different spirit by changing the way a person perceives life and acts in it. Caleb had a spirit of faith and courage to do what was right and conquer new territories and to win in life. He knew who he was created to be and accepted it with courage and lived that life he was created to be. His life was a blessing to all his family and to all those around him. Caleb impacted his world with the life-giving love and power of God.
Why The Name “Caleb 86.” At twelve years of age my father bought me the book “Pacemakers In Track & Field” (by Mac Davis, © 1968, The World Publishing Company). In this book it talked about people who overcame impossible handicaps to win Olympic and World medals. One of which was Wilma Rudolph. Born in severe poverty with her family working in the tobacco fields in Tennessee she developed double pneumonia along with polio and scarlet fever causing her legs to become paralyzed. She overcame all this to win Olympic medals and set Olympic records. Another person was Glenn Cunningham whose legs as a child were severely burned in a schoolhouse fire that his brother died from. It left him paralyzed. He went on to set world records and win an Olympic silver medal. In the 1980’s I began working and developing my motivational and performance material as the Holy Spirit revealed it to me. I had not been reading other performance-based material only true inspirational stories of others and the Bible. My own personal experiences I also analyzed. I had it all developed in the 1980’s and then set out to get it proven by others. While in Bible school Connie, my wife, got pregnant. When we first found out Connie was pregnant I felt God saying to me “call his name ‘Caleb’ for he will have a different spirit.” But we did not know if the baby was a boy or a girl. And we never knew the gender until Caleb was born. I was always thinking to myself “what if it is a girl.” We had never given one thought to a girl’s name, which left me a little concerned because I like to think things out with some kind of a plan ahead of time. I graduated from Bible school and came home to start a church. We planned it all out and set the start date. Without our planning the day of Connie’s delivery, God had planned Connie’s delivery on the start day of our church. I was doing our first church service while Connie with my mother were in the hospital delivering our son “Caleb.” And the name was the right gender; he was a boy and now a man. “A man’s man.” In the early years of his life, I was gone a lot traveling with professional sports teams and was not always able to make his baseball games. I came late to one game while Caleb was up to bat. The man next to me, as we were leaning on the fence not knowing who I was, said to me, “you see that boy batting, I don’t know whose son he is, but he has a different spirit.” I did not tell him that I was his father but could only think about what God had told me at his conception was indeed true and could even now be seen and acknowledged by strangers. Throughout Caleb’s life this has always been said of him. Some years ago, I felt God telling me to call my training performance system “Caleb 86," where God is raising up people with a different spirit than what is in the world today and a spirit of power, love and discipline, 2Timothy 1:7. When we named our son Caleb, other than in the Bible, I did not know anyone with that name. A few years later I began to see and hear of many people all over with the name Caleb all around the same era of my son. The “86” is the year Caleb was born. I originally called the program “Power Performance Strategies.” When I was asked to come and do training in the NASCAR Winston Cup series (now NASCAR Cup) the teams told me they were very limited on the amount of time they could give to me but knew they needed the training. So, I condensed it into a short concise format and called it “Pit Stop Performance Training System.” The program is twelve minutes of teaching and about three minutes of workbook time for a total of fifteen minutes. At that time pit stops were between twelve to fifteen seconds and so, I did the training in fifteen minutes. Now, the pit stops are between eight to ten seconds. This training system is about “having a different spirit” that values all of life because it is created by God with intrinsic value; that God is good, He loves us and wants us to win in life. My new book that embraces all of this is titled, "Shaping A Will To Win," and will be posted online soon for sales. It talks about "what is winning," and "how to achieve it." There are also sections on seven laws for "Harnessing Natural Laws To Soar Higher," seven "PowerCombinations™ For Exponential Power" and seven triangles for "Creating The Winning State Of Being."

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) "11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." The word "life" here is "ḥāyâ." It is a Hebrew word for experiencing the vitality of life to the fullest with success, joy and pleasure. Dictionary.com says, "vitality: exuberant physical strength or mental vigor, capacity for survival or for the continuation of a meaningful or purposeful existence, power to live or grow."
