Tony Ewart adheres to God as the creator of all life that holds intrinsic value which is to be respected, valued and honored. And that the Bible is the divinely inspired, plenary and inerrant word of God which gives us the words of eternal life in Jesus Christ and to live successful lives on the earth, (John 3:16; 10:10). That we do not live by bread alone but by every word of God. And that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, (John 14:6). Tony has a Ph.D. in psychology with scriptural reference. He has a MA in History with Theology. Also, a BA degree in theology that includes four years of Greek and Hebrew. Motivated by his love for God's word and the teaching of it to others he is currently working on a theology book and also an apologetic book for helping Christians develop a Biblical Worldview and to give a reason for their hope, (2Timothy 2:15; 1Peter 3:15). We are also coming out with simple training material to help people read through the Bible with greater ease and understanding. Showing that the Bible is not as overwhelming as it appears to be to people that causes them reluctance to wanting to start or even continue trying to read it.
Being raised in the church and accepting Jesus Christ into my life at the age of nine I began hungering for God's word reading it on a regular basis at night lying in bed. At the age of eighteen an evangelist, Philip Green, came to our church and challenged us to begin a reading program from Genesis to Revelation with Philip's Bible cut into seven small sections of 250 pages each in giant print. Philip Green was reading one section of 250 giant print pages every day and therefore reading through the Bible every week. This inspired my love for God's word to begin a steady reading of God's word where I was reading through the Bible four times a year and continue still to this day of reading through the Bible several times a year. I spent the first two years reading through the Bible (eight times) not understanding it or having it come together. Then, at the end of eight times of reading through the Bible it came together, and I saw how small the Bible was and how more easily it was to understand. As I continue my Bible reading over all these many years (my Bible study time is a different time) I am always amazed as to how the Bible keeps growing in my life with it always coming more and more alive to me. At the age of nine with my love for God's word I also began memorizing Bible verses, then chapters, then books of the Bible. The most challenging memorizing was Psalm 119 with its 176 verses in the King James Version because so many words were different but similar in meaning like statutes, commandments, laws, precepts, etc. One of my adamant desires is to have people develop a strong passion for God's word and not shy away from reading it. "...Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 (NKJV). "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My word will by no means pass away." Matt. 24:35 (NKJV). "... the words that I (Jesus) speak unto you are spirit and they are life." (NKJV).
